Nabil Nemer has expertise in the field of agricultural and horticultural, including natural ecosystems, bio-exploration, soil systems, vegetation dynamics, health, natural extracts, biospheres, biodiversity, pest control
Nabil’s interests are in biodiversity, climate change, plant protection -entomology, forest entomology and chemical ecology, insecticides, pesticides, harvesting and postharvest practices.
In addition to organizing workshops on nature reserves and biodiversity, is regularly an invited expert on panels. Nabil is a prolific author and co-author of more than 40 publications (posters, leaflets, booklets) designed for agricultural extensions with international and local institutions FAO, GEF, UNEP, Lebanese Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Agriculture, YMCA, Creative Associates, and Mouawad foundations, and NGOs. He is also a reviewer of numerous journals and funding agencies.
Memberships
Nabil received his PhD in Forest Entomology and Chemical Ecology from Université Paris-Sud 11 and Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique (Paris, France), and is currently associate dean of doctoral studies for science and technology at a doctoral college.
