Nancy Zgheib is experienced in the chemical engineering field. She has been a consultant for many chemical industries on the development of disinfectants, detergents, soaps, personal care, and cosmetic products, and has conducted feasibility studies on the design and simulation of chemical processes.
Her areas of interest include synthesis and characterization of hybrid organic/inorganic colloids, biofuel production from waste cooking oil and animal fat, recycling of used motor oil, recycling of plastic mixture wastes.

Nancy received her PhD in Polymerization Processes from Claude Bernard Lyon 1 – Lyon – France. She is also head of a university chemical and petroleum engineering department.
