Tilda Akiki specializes in generation and transport of electrical energies and renewable energies. She is also a promoter of innovation in engineering and was the branch manager of MELEC Company – Iraq Branch – for the rehabilitation of electrical networks, changing existing overhead electrical networks
into underground networks according to Memorandum of Understanding Practices, signed between the Government of the Republic of Iraq and the Secretariat of the United Nations.
Areas of interest include innovating technology for a better tomorrow, global IT and cybersecurity education programs, renewable Energies for PV Panels, and environmental approaches based on the development of an electromechanical platform application for electrical cars.

Tilda received her PhD from the University of Technology of Belfort-Montbéliard – France and is currently the head of a university electrical, telecommunications and computer engineering department.
